Curriculum

Building a strong foundation for many years of learning ahead!

We play to learn at Ready River Preschool!

What We Do & Why it Works

We use a variety of learning tools to teach young minds including music and movement, dramatic play, arts & crafts, and most of all, FUN! We cater to ALL learning styles. Hear it. See it. Say it. Try it. This kind of environment creates endless exposure for your child to thrive!

We play for a PURPOSE. Everything is intentional

Each week at Ready River Preschool, we prepare the classroom with ALL new activities, learning stations, and crafts in association with the letter of the week. We encourage freedom of choice

Experienced Educators & Community Collaboration

Our teachers at Ready River Preschool are well versed in early childhood development. We have built an outstanding program with years of support and collaboration with Lee Pesky, Idaho Stem Action Center, Kuna Early Learning Collaborative & Erikson Institute.

Arts & Crafts

Each week, we practice cutting, fine motor skills, coloring, painting and following directions with a letter of the week craft! We also do a weekly craft that encourages creativity and sensory play with things like noodles for the letter N, q-tips for the letter Q, and much more!

Music & Movement

Research shows that children need to actively & simultaneously use as many of their senses as they can when they learn & practice. We incorporate daily ABC songs that highlight the letter of the week,  counting to 100 and fun songs of the day!

Letter Bags

Each week your child picks 2 or 3 things from home to share with the class that coincide with the letter of the week. This extends the learning to your home environment and creates space for your child to share what they are learning about at Ready River Preschool. Your child will build confidence as they share their items each week with the class!
